Project of CH Muhammed Koya memorial charitable centre was formed on the 5th of March 2010 dedicated to provide dialysis treatments to the needy. The centre was inaugurated by padmasree Yusuf Ali M.A in the presence of distinguished guests. The four storied dialysis centre, located nearby the Calicut medical college hospital provides a warm, caring and professional environment for individuals undergoing dialysis due to chronic kidney disease. The centre is equipped with 17 latest dialysis machines imported from Germany, infrastructures and staff strength of 3 doctors and 8 nursing staffs and 2 technicians.
Our dialysis centre is unique because we provide dialysis services free of cost and we ensure that no patient will be deprived of treatment. We employ over 35 full and part time general nursing staffs for creating a future worth living for our patients. Our ability to provide outstanding patient outcomes is due to our totally integrated approach and the quality and professionalism of our nursing staffs. As a result our patients can be assured that they will experience excellence in care every time they visit our dialysis centre.
The centre has currently 17 beds and is being used in three shifts - 7.00 AM, 1.00 PM and 6.00 PM. Each sitting take a minimum of four hours will cover 51 patients in a day. The cost of dialysis including consumable kit (which has been estimated Rs. 900 per session) is being raised from donors and philanthropists.
